In 1969, Digby's uncle, Digby Robert, painted two words on the side of a single delivery truck: Dependable. Friendly. That truck became Digby Freight Services, and that standard became the family's way of doing business.
"Dependable Friendly Services": the words on the original DFS truck, still the standard the firm is built on.
DFS Consulting LLC was founded in 2007 by Digby R. Kerr, in recognition of that heritage. The trucks are gone, but the standard travels well: show up, do the unglamorous work correctly, and treat people the way you'd want to be treated.

Digby R. Kerr
Digby grew up around freight. His uncle, Digby Robert, ran Digby Freight Services out of a single orange truck starting in 1969, and Digby spent afternoons riding along, learning that a business built on being dependable and friendly could outlast bigger, flashier competitors.
He carried that lesson into a Wharton education, then into fifteen years building and leading a global logistics company of his own. He now serves as VP of another logistics organization, mentors executives through Kerr University, and writes about the discipline of doing steady work well. DFS Consulting LLC, founded in 2007, is where that heritage becomes advice you can use.
